In March 2026, we have deployed a major update on our DATA4S x ARTIREV x SOCRATES platform, with a significant evolution in how credits work to make scientific exploration more free, flexible, and value-driven.
What changes for subscribers (paid Web or Lite license)
Previously, subscribers had access to:
- 10 Socrates express credits per month (quick 2–3 page literature reviews)
- access to Socrates complete in beta version (in-depth literature reviews up to 12–14 pages)
Now, the system has evolved significantly:
Unlimited access to Socrates express
You now benefit from fully unlimited access to Socrates express:
- no usage limits
- no credit consumption
- ability to generate and download as many quick reviews as you want
Free and unlimited analyses
Launching an analysis (green “Analyze” button) no longer consumes any credits. In other words, you can explore your results as much as you want.
Fully flexible parameters
After running an analysis, you can also modify the number of documents from the “Parameters” section at no additional cost.
This allows you to test multiple configurations, compare different corpora, and progressively refine your analyses.
Socrates complete refocused on value
You now have access to 5 full literature reviews per month. The use of Socrates complete (optional after analysis) is the only moment when a credit is consumed.
The objective: to reserve credit consumption for high value-added usage.
What changes for trial users
We have also improved the exploration experience:
Free filters
Modifying search filters no longer consumes any credits. In other words, you can freely explore different research directions:

Modifying the number of documents after an analysis is now free of charge.

With this update, we aimed to:
- strengthen the strategic value of Socrates complete
- offer maximum freedom of exploration
- align credit consumption only with high-impact scientific usage
